Both a great introduction and good overview

Who knows what the bad reviewers were looking for to give such disturbing reviews. For me, I align with independent researchers who passionately pursue their subject matter and honestly detail their understanding and insights.
I like how Derrick stretches understanding and makes natural comparisons across fields of study... such as doubling of octaves being related to doubling of cells as zygote develops into a human fetus. I dig the brainwave connection. I dig the connection of beats and rhythm into audible tones and notes and much further up of 40 octaves into the light spectrum. I do see this as a natural and connected progression.
His section on A=440Hz tuning is quite insightful, that corresponding notes often result in irrational numbers that go onto infinity and fail to have good harmonics.
"This is quite interesting because all of the 'sacred' numbers from those ancient cultures seem to have this property of numerical 'roundness', this is in fact how I discovered them, through pure need, and not through a specific search for 'cosmic' numbers."
Derrick's discussion and connection of BPM to Frequency is one of the best parts of this book and makes it worth the purchase.
I also really enjoy his discussion of Pythagorean error, which has troubled me, and his solution of irrational numbers compounding is simple and brilliant. His offered solution is one to consider.
"If it is all about ratios, then it would seem obvious that using only ratios to get all the notes for your scale might work better. Then you can try to find ratios using the lowest possible numbers for all of them, not just the first 4. These ratios should preferably be as close as possible to those in the harmonic series, using the same small numbers like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and trying to go no higher than 16, or where the harmonics get too close together to make musical sense.
There are actually people doing this already, they call it 'just intonation'. It is the art of making a scale with the lowest most whole numbered ratios that you can, while still getting a scale that sounds good for use in music. Small ratios automatically send you in the same direction as the harmonic series because the harmonic series is based on the same whole number divisions. This is the path of least resistance in physics and also the path of least confusion and decimal places in mathematics, which is good because it makes all the calculations so much easier."
I do enjoy how he shares his discovery that the 7 tones match the 7 colors when doubling the frequencies.
"The vertical column marked 'brainwave frequencies' covers the first 7 octaves of brainwave frequencies and the column marked 'audio frequencies' covers the next 7 octaves of audio above that one. I put the octaves side by side and calculated frequencies that are octaves of each chakra frequency and that also all fall into 14 successive octaves covering the full range of known audio, all the way from the slowest beats right up to the highest tones, all in harmony with itself. Basically it is just a Ptolemy scale but with each successive note in the next new octave."
For my critique and constructive criticism, I take caution with the simplistic color spectrum and I'd love if he connected with Goethe's work, which explores natural color creation and prismatic colors found with light as well as from dark and finally combining light and dark. Here's a Free Google Books scan of his book: [...] and there are videos online which give a good overview. I encourage Derrick to apply his musical understanding to Goethe's understanding of light, dark, and color. There may be a much better connection to explore.
Derrick continues to go through examples and detailed connection between sacred geometry and tones and music of the spheres and the tremendous amount of numerical significance giving enough ground to certainly consider re-tuning one's instruments to try more harmonious productions.
This is why this book is a good introduction and overview. I can share that I'm stoked to try out different tunings in my composition and feel that my singing, and choral arrangements for other singers will give welcomed relief. Our ears naturally gravitate to clear and clean harmonies.
I'm a big fan of the three sonic realms shared by Bernie Krause in his Ted Talk on the voice of the natural world [...] he shares that there is geophony, biophony and anthrophony.
"The soundscape is made up of three basic sources. The first is the geophony, or the nonbiological sounds that occur in any given habitat, like wind in the trees, water in a stream, waves at the ocean shore, movement of the Earth. The second of these is the biophony. The biophony is all of the sound that's generated by organisms in a given habitat at one time and in one place. And the third is all of the sound that we humans generate that's called anthrophony. Some of it is controlled, like music or theater, but most of it is chaotic and incoherent, which some of us refer to as noise."
Having this book is like a guide on how to produce music to be in tune and in harmony with our biophony, and our geophony. Derrick and I have similar conclusions and his book is a welcome treatise on this forward thinking and progressive subject.

Nothing short of MAGIC! An essential read for the conscious musician and/or energy alchemist!

I was recommended this book by a music producer that I have great respect for and after just reading the table of contents I knew it would become my new music bible. With chapters titles like "Just Innotation, the Color Spectrum, Chakras and Astrology" and "Music of the Spheres, Cosmic Connections" I knew right away that this wasn't your everyday music production read. This book is easy to read, and easy to understand after some study but will shape your perspective of music production to shine light on the fact that music made with intent and in harmony with the knowledge of sacred frequencies is the next logical and spiritual progression for the aspiring music producer. Great information is available here for the electronic producer and even just for the music fanatic. A must read in my opinion! The author, Derrick, is a down to earth guy that even stays in contact through his facebook and his facebook groups like "Life, the Universe and 432 Hz". Don't pass this important sacred knowledge up! 5 out of 5 stars!

Be prepared to take an amazing journey from the moment you open this book. It explains the wondrous connection between the Universe, music and living things.
It is well researched and very well presented. If I had to rate it on a 'Wow' factor scale, I would give it 10 out of 10!
