This book presents a practical guide implementing new instructional methodology utilizing game-based skills. Mr. Farber has included concrete examples and real time classroom planning and management techniques in his book.
As an educator with more than 40 years of experience in classroom management this text brings together the new challenges facing 21st century classroom instruction. This book should be required reading for all educators.

Get the book, not the Kindle

This is as saucy as you would expect from Cumming. However I made a big mistake. I thought I'd ordered the BOOK, but instead I'd ordered the Kindle version. I have one of the earlier kindles and photos viewed on it are horrible. Cumming is a fun snapshot taker, not a photographer, which reduces the quality that much more. I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative and with squinting I could get the idea of the photos, but I want to go to a real store, find the book, and flip through it to see what I missed. By all means, buy this book if you are into irreverent personal stories of behind the scenes Hollywood and Broadway, but pay the extra money and get the "real" book.

Reading Alan Cumming's writing, and seeing his photographs, feels like making a new friend - an impossibly vibrant, captivating friend. In this and his last book, he doesn't hesitate to share intimate moments of his life, which alternately left me in tears and fits of giggling. Buy this book; you won't regret it!

If you like rough drafts . . .

This very slim paperback (45 pages) is so small that for a moment I thought amazon had sent me an empty box! It reads like a rough draft or an outline to be expanded into a full size book. Having read and loved "The Little Princess" for years, this book offered no surprises, only mild disappointment. Some characters are missing, such as Sara's "fellow prisoner". There are contradictions; first Sara cries for several days after her father leaves and a few pages later, it says that Sara never cries.

If you want to read a fairly detailed synopsis of the book, then this paperback will work, or if you simply want to round off your collection. Otherwise, stick with the real thing.

It's about the same as little princess but there is no Becky. And in parts of the book it says Sara Cry's. But then later it says she rarely Cry's that's the only different. And not to much says about Sara interacting with the other girls but ermagard.

Graham P Cornish has worked in the field of copyright since 1983 and advised the British Library on copyright matters for 18 years. He has run workshops and seminars in many different sectors of the information industry. He now works as an independent advisor and trainer in all aspects of copyright under the label (c)opyright Circle. Paul Pedley MA MLib FCLIP has been following developments in UK copyright law for nearly twenty years. He has been a member of the Libraries and Copyright Alliance since 1998, and regularly trains, lectures and speaks on copyright and other areas of information law. He is the author of a number of books published by Facet Publishing including the E-copyright Handbook, Copyright Compliance: Practical steps to stay within the law and Essential Law for Information Professionals. Tim Padfield MA LLM worked at The National Archives (formerly the Public Record Office) for over thirty years before his retirement in 2013. He is a specialist in copyright, with particular reference to unpublished materials and has a postgraduate law degree, with merit. Disappointing bit of fluff

I was disappointed with this book. I was expecting it to be a little deeper, grittier and more true-to-life than it is. It starts out that way, but overall, it's just a bit of fluff. The ending was especially disappointing - since the three main characters all miraculously end up with their perfect mate, it sends the distinct message that a woman needs to have the man of her dreams in order to have a happy, fulfilling life.

I'm not one for reading much fiction, but this book was a fun departure for me. It's a great summer read and what one would call a "beach book" in that it's a page turner and a fun read. Deep enough to be thought provoking but not depressing. Serious at times and sarcastic and hilarious just when needed. The author writes in such a tone that it's like a good friend telling a story. Characters are well developed and the plot is relatable to many.

Some women are unique.

This novel opened up whole new vistas of the interpersonal relationships between women. The women described and utilized by this author are not flamboyant, famous, wealthy. They are women like the reader sees and with whom she interacts everyday. Every woman deserves a best friend, but when one has more than one best friend, that woman is greatly blessed. The unique way that these women came to know one another depicts everyday life. Each day, we meet people who could conceivably make a difference in our life. Too often we allow these chances to slip by. This novel depicts what can happen when we allow ourselves to be open and to share experiences. I loved the way that these women came together and how they truly cared about one another. The men in their lives are not so unique ether. We know them as well. The author uses them and their viewpoints to illustrate the really great women. A truly great read.
