An awaking in my education and understanding. Wow!

Now I understand why there are so many questions asked before treatment. Dr. Wendy lives across the country from me now, but we (my wife and I) have had her treat our cats for 20+ years. We use a local vet when necessary and he understands our situation. I had several "ah ha" moments reading this book. I am so glad I read this book because I now understand so much more instead of just wondering about one or two items. I believe I have a better overall picture of homeopathy. Buy 2 copies: one for you and one for your local vet. We did. And since "A well-informed client is one of the best friends of the veterinary homeopath" (p.65) and "Details are gold to the homeopath" (p.73), I know why we keep a life-long notebook on each of our cats. That you Wendy for a wonderful book and insight into the world of veterinary homeopathy.

Seeing disease with "new eyes" through homeopathy

This book is a window into your homeopathic veterinary surgeon’s world. I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to understand the principles behind homeopathy, get a sharper grasp of how remedies are prepared and carefully prescribed for your pet as an individual, and gain a better appreciation of the consultation and follow-up. Some excellent analogies help the reader see disease through “new eyes”, requiring a mind shift from allopathic (traditional) medicine, and many interesting cases illustrate the author’s points. Dr. Jensen answers the question, “Are vaccines safe?” from a homeopathic perspective, explains how good nutrition (raw diet) works alongside homeopathy to support overall health and well-being, and illustrates how homeopathy can assist the dying patient.
This is not a book for someone who wishes to learn about individual remedies per se, but one that will enable owners to become better observers of their pets and more active participants in the homeopathic consultation. Ultimately owners will be more involved in the healing journey and more connected to their pet, as homeopathy builds a unique relationship with owner, pet and veterinary surgeon.

I had access to a homeopathic vet long ago but didn't know how to tap into her expertise.
Dr. Wendy's book is perfect for anyone who is a caregiver to an animal and desires to know how and why to seek an alternative approach to caring
for your pet when they are unwell or probably more importantly, when they are seemingly well. Her book presents the use of homeopathy in as concise a manner as possible which is a major feat in itself !
Other's have marvelous books to guide one along and they are highly recommended. But, Dr. Jensen's book is focused on the science of homeopathy and helps one ' to stay in the lane' of educating oneself of the great healing powers of the medicine !
