Kathleen M. Heide, Ph.D., is Professor of Criminology at the University of South Florida, Tampa. Dr. Heide, a licensed mental health professional, is an internationally-recognized consultant on adolescent homicide and family violence and a court-appointed expert in matters relating to homicide, children, and families.

Fascinating Book and Author!

Dr. Heide's most recent book is wonderfully written and easy to read! The material flows well, is informative, and is enjoyable for all readers. She gives fascinating accounts of the young individuals presented in the text. I would highly recommend this book, as well as the other books she has previously written!

I have read 3 books written by Dr. Heide as she was my seminar professor. In every book you learn more and more about the offender, and you become instantly engaged in their stories. Each chapter is flows extremely well, and the information you receive is worth the read.
